SNOW FLAKE POW WOW 2012

Mitigwa Lodge will hold its Snow Flake Pow Wow Friday, February 17 - Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Camp Dodge in Johnston. The mailing for the event is the Arrowman Insider which can be read by clicking the link below. A link is also given for a map of part of Camp Dodge that shows where we will be located. We're back in one of the big buildings which means no running outside to go to eat or other things.

Once again, there will be sewers to help you make your outfitting. If you want help with yours, please bring money to buy your material. A shirt costs $20, leggings cost $10, and the apron is $5. There is only so much that can be sewn, so please check with the seamstresses first thing to get a number to hopefully get your outfitting made.

Friday night, there will be video games (providing you bring them). You will need to bring your game console, games, a TV, and power strip if you want to play. Work with your friends to bring what you need. Games should be kept to the Teen level. Please no MA games.

The trading post is going to have some new items at Snow Flake Pow Wow. The belt buckles should be fixed for this event. The picture at the left shows all but the pewter belt buckle. The prices are:
Pewter Belt Buckle - $20
Skull Cap - $13
Long Sleeve T-Shirt - $20
Bandannas - $7
Baseball Cap - $15
Quantities are limited, so get them while they last. If any are left over after Snow Flake Pow Wow, they will be available at the Trading Post at Camp Mitigwa on Saturdays (check with the ranger for times) and at Spring Conclave.

At the right are the artwork for the 2012 event patches which were designed by your officers to represent the various chapters that make up our lodge as well as the events that take place during the year. Although the patches don't officially take effect until Snow Flake Pow Wow, the large 5" x 7" patch will be available in on-line registration as well as at the Trading Post at Winter Banquet for $10. The smaller event patches will sell for $1.
