Tamaha District Activities
Scouting for Food Service Project: Saturday October 15, 9:00 a.m.
Scouts will be collecting donated food from assigned neighborhoods and dropping it off at designated collection and sorting locations around the district for use in local food pantries in their communities.
Tamaha District Recognition Event: Sunday, January 29, 5:30 p.m.
Potluck - Bring your own service and a dish to share. Free will donations will be accepted at the event to cover the cost of awards. The reception will feature recognition of Eagle Scouts, unit leaders, district commissioners, district committee members and the District Award of Merit presentation; the highest award Tamaha District may bestow upon a Scouter. We will also recap the year reviewing specific events and thanking those people who made them successful. Bring your chartered organization representative, committee members, volunteers, parents, spouses and community leaders. This is the time to celebrate Scouting and our great volunteer leaders!
